Next, look at the Google Apps in the Classroom, a Google Site he created that tells other teachers how to use the tools themselves.
Imagine if the move to Google Apps was a district-wide initiative, creating a communication and collaboration environment among faculty, administrators, resources, and staff .... not just in the classroom.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the post on my blog! I would just like to add that yes it would be wonderful if Google Apps would be part of a district-wide initiative. In my district we have made some great progress with our teachers using Google Docs as a collaborative tool for grade level or subject alike tasks. In our Ed Tech Department where I work, we use Google Docs almost exclusively as our favorite tool for collaborative projects. For example, it is amazing how a boring spreadsheet seems to come alive when 8 people are sharing it and breathing life into it!
